A unique tuition centre focused on helping students excel academically and in everyday life. We offer qualified, dedicated and caring teachers and a flexible system, offering both group and private tutoring. We specialise in various subjects that cater from K-12. 

Through our unique teaching methodology, dedicated tutors and systematically organised programs we promise to empower youth academically by creating a fun and engaging learning space so they can achieve their goals and see results.

Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime” is what we do. School is only a small step towards the bigger picture in life. Therefore, while we assist our students to achieve their personal best with their studies, we also coach them in how to move forward in life and make informed decisions about their future.

Frequently Asked Questions

We provide tutoring services for all years, from Kindergarten to year 12. This includes Primary School and High School. We provide tutoring for NAPLAN, Selective/OC Test, HSC and UCAT. We have holiday programs for our students to excel. We continuously hold educational workshops for skills and development.

It depends. For primary school it is $25 per session (1hr). For High school, year 7-10, it is $50 per session (2hrs). For year 11-12 it is $60 per session (2hrs).

You can pay every week, for 5 weeks (Half term) or 10 weeks (Full term).

You can pay cash upfront on the counter, Eftpos or via direct debit.

Yes, there is a paid two week trial period. If you don’t think the service is for you, you can cancel your enrolment and receive your money back.

For Primary students, per session is 1hr. For High school students, per session is 2hrs.

We offer both group and individual tutoring, however, for individual tutoring it is only for selected subjects such as Maths, for the time being.

Our tutors have a lesson prepared to go through, based on the NESA syllabus. Also, each lesson there will be a quiz to recap material from previous lesson. There will be exercise questions, homework, topic tests, additional resources and exam papers etc. provided to students.

Yes, we ensure that our staff holds a valid Working With Children Check.

One Step Tutoring aims to ensure the best possible learning experience for all students. As such, we tend to follow a formal and systematic methodology. Hence, we only offer payment exemption for the class unattended if there is a valid reason with formal documentations such as medical certificate in the case of sickness/illness etc.

All parents/guardians have the opportunity to discuss with the tutor the progress of their child, including test results, homework, performance, improvement and other related activities.
